Our local club was chartered in 1971 as a chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club Inc; a worldwide club with more than 12,500 members. We are part of the North Central Zone of the club. This zone includes the provinces of Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, and the states of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
Mission Statement: The club is organized as a non profit organization with the preservation, restoration, and admiration of all Studebakers in mind. Additionally we will participate in social activities and meetings to keep the Buffalo Chapter SDC relevant for its members.
We have a diverse membership scattered all over Manitoba and north western Ontario who share one thing in common, a love of Studebaker cars and trucks. You do not have to own a Studebaker to be a member. See our Join link if you are interested. Members receive a beautiful full colour monthly magazine dedicated to all things Studebaker called Turning Wheels.
In addition to regular meetings our members can often be found at “show and shine” and swap meets throughout the region. The parent club is headquartered in the U. S. and there are chapters all over North America and some on other continents. Many friendships have evolved through social interactions at the various meets held each year. A pilgrimage to the original home of Studebaker in South Bend, Indiana is a goal of many members. The Studebaker Museum is located there.
